I just returned from taking care of an expensive vehicular problem. As always my biggest fear is these mechanics driving it because of the extensive hand controls.
I asked if I could at least drive it right up to the bay, I was told yes. Then I asked if the mechanic who'd be working on it would come with me and watch from the passenger's seat, he did. As I approached the bay, the mechanic said I could take it inside. I was quite reieved but worried since he was admiting to his fear of the controls. Two hours later I saw the mechanic drive it into a parking spot up front! Wow- was I suprised. I guess it IS drivable by some non-disabled people.
